Xixi Wetland: what to expect
Xixi National Wetland Park lies outside the lakeside route around West Lake. Treat it as its own trip, not as one more stop on the shore walk. You pay at the park, and boats are a separate choice with their own prices.
The regular entry price is CNY 80. A combined ticket with a boat is CNY 140. Prices below are the 2026 figures. If you would rather be on the water at West Lake itself, compare West Lake boat rides.

Our take: the ticket covers the paid core areas and the electric boat between them.

Tickets and boat prices
Prices in CNY for 2026.
| Option | Price | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Entry only | CNY 80 | Regular price, no boat |
| Entry and boat | CNY 140 | Combined ticket |
| Electric boat | CNY 60 per person | Priced on its own |
| Hand-rowed boat | CNY 100 per boat per hour | The price is for the boat, not each person |
| Half ticket | CNY 40 | Children and seniors aged 60 to under 70, with ID, entry without boat |
| Free entry | – | People aged 70 and over, entry without boat |
For most first-time visitors, the entry and boat combination is the simplest choice. A hand-rowed boat suits a group that shares the per-boat price. Do not work out a boat price by subtracting CNY 80 from CNY 140, and ask at the ticket window what your ticket includes. Child age and height limits, and whether foreign ID qualifies for a discount, are best checked at the window.

The half ticket is CNY 40, and seniors aged 60 to under 70 need ID. People aged 70 and over enter free. These tickets do not include a boat.
